The rustic charm and allure of Leicestershire attracts many visitors from all over the world, and the heart of the Midlands is an ideal location for your wedding day or next special event. Scalford Hall is located on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray – the market town famous for its exceptional Pork Pies! It is one of the finest hotels and wedding venues in the region and boasts an immaculate array of facilities. The main building has 79 bedrooms and the banqueting suite can cater for up to 120 guests. However, the recent construction of a Pavilion in the spacious garden area now allows the events team to cater for up to 600 at larger functions.

The hall has enjoyed a long and illustrious history, and during the 1930s King Edward VIII (who would abdicate the throne in 1936) and his future wife Wallis Simpson were regular visitors. During this period Scalford Hall was owned by Colonel Colman whose family are famous for the production of Colman’s Mustard.
